Championship side Derby County has announced the signing of the experienced Englishman from LA Galaxy.
The 38-year-old will team up with former Chelsea teammate Frank Lampard, now manager of Derby County, to help aid their promotion push.
Details of the duration of the deal are not available yet but it's all official on Derby's official Twitter account. The Rams currently occupy 6th in the table and if they ended there after 46 league games, they would qualify for the playoffs. Lampard and Cole enjoyed good on-field chemistry at Chelsea, with Cole providing more assists for Lampard than for any other player while he was a Premier League star.

Cole has won the FA Cup more times than any other player in the competition's history (7). Lampard and Derby County will be hoping that Cole's experience can help them gain promotion to the promised land of the Premier League.
