Out of favour, Nigeria international Chinedu Obasi has reportedly returned to Swedish Allsvenskan side AIK Fotboll for a third spell.
The club confirmed the news via their official website that they have reached an agreement with Obasi over a deal that will run for the whole of the 2019 season.
The 32-year-old spent a portion of the 2016 and 2017 seasons at AIK, scoring 12 goals in approximately 20 appearances while providing five assists.
''It is always a pleasure to be back in AIK because, as I said before, it is home and I’m looking forward to performing in front of our amazing fans and I can’t wait to meet the team and everyone," Obasi said.
''I look forward to the preparation and the league."
Obasi has also plied his trade with Lyn Oslo, TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, Schalke 04, Shenzhen, Bolton Wanderers and IF Elfsborg.
