Bandari FC head coach Bernard Mwalala was delighted by his side's performance in 1-0 win over Tanzanian side Singida United on Tuesday 22nd.

William Wadri scored the only goal through a penalty kick in the second half, a goal which helped the Dockers to advance to the semifinals of Sportpesa Cup. Mwalala admitted during his time as a player he used to get good results at Tanzania National Stadium and he was positive his side will also get good results.

"Every time I used to play in this stadium I always went home happy with good results and heading to the match I told my boys we can do it and they delivered. I am happy they followed my instructions and we have advanced to the next stage," he said.

"One thing we agree as a club, we have a belief we must score in every match and every time we score we defend well.

On Wadri

"He is a talented player. He has been performing well in the last eight matches and that makes me happy," he added.

Wadri was named the man of the match where he was given Kshs 50,000/-. And Mwalala says the club won't yet celebrate its victory as they await the next opponent in the semis.
