Kwara United's chairman praises the team's improvement

The chairman of Kwara United Prince Oladimeji Thompson has spoken exclusively about the depth and improvement of the club over the past seasons. 

Thompson believes that the side has immense growth under head coach Abubarka Bala and that they can be contenders for the league title if they are consistent in their performances.

"I have no doubt,  over the technical capability of coach Abubarka Bala, the strength and depth of the team is a clear example of the match against Enyimba football club of Aba they came from behind and they won the match 3 goals to 2  ended in favour of Kwara United," Thompson said.

Kwara United got off late having drawn their first match and lost the following match, and they came back stronger into the third game despite the hurdles with a victory against seven times winner of the NPFL Enyimba FC.

"It has clearly shown character, commitment and strength. I hope they continue in that manner," he continued.

"I have a target for the team this season to get continental tickets for the people of Kwara State."

"They have being solidly behind the team, most especially the Kwara state government whom has being the brain behind the team in terms of financial motivation."

The chairman concluded by saying: "I do hope for a better result ahead for Kwara United."
