Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer gave the clearest hint of how he will approach the Champions League two-legged match against Paris Saint Germain.
Once again Solskjaer maintained his 100% record as United boss after beating Arsenal 3-1 in FA Cup fourth round at the Emirates. The results meant he extended his unbeaten run to eight matches since taking over. Jesse Lingard was once again deployed as false nine and is likely to be reprised against PSG as well as Liverpool in the Premier League in the coming weeks.
“Coming here, we thought long and hard about it, but we worked quite well during the week and it worked tonight. It’s something that we can change," he said after the game.
“It was a massive step forward for us performance-wise, as a team. The structure in the team was miles, miles better compared to Tottenham a couple of weeks ago where we hung in there.
