Big blow for PSG ahead of Man United clash as midfielder suffers injury setback
Fresh from resuming training this week after an injury, Paris Saint Germain manager Thomas Tuchel has confirmed that Marco Verratti has suffered another injury set back.
Verratti resumed training on Monday after spraining his ankle in the 9-0 win over Guingamp back in mid-January. This will be a huge blow to Paris Saint Germain who will be facing Manchester United next week on Tuesday in the UEFA Champions League round of 16 clash. Tuchel will also be without Neymar who was confirmed to miss both legs against The Red Devils.
Speaking after the extra-time win over Villefranche in the French Cup, Tuchel confirmed that Verratti suffered another injury set back, “Marco Verratti could not finish training yesterday [Tuesday]. He had problems. I have to wait until tomorrow [Thursday] to decide if he can play against Bordeaux. His new problem is something else, but I do not know too much.”
