Paris Saint Germain forward Angel Di Maria has a lot of respect for his former side Manchester United according to his teammate Julian Draxler as the Argentine prepares to make his return to Old Trafford.
Di Maria made the switch from Spanish giants Real Madrid for a then British record fee of £59.7million after sealing the UEFA Champions League back in 2014. Di Maria is expected to start for PSG, who are without Edinson Cavani and Neymar for their Champions League round-of-16 first leg, at United on Tuesday night.
Speaking a press conference ahead of the United clash Draxler admitted that he asked Di Maria questions about his former club, "I was asking him some questions about Manchester United. I won’t tell you what he said but he will be ready for tomorrow. He’s a big player. He has a lot of respect for the club (United), there’s nothing terrible in what he said but it was between me and him, so I won't tell you right now.
"He’s in good form, we’ll need him tomorrow, especially without Cavani and Neymar, hopefully he’ll have a great performance tomorrow."
