Enyimba’s Abdullah calm & perspective ahead of Tornadoes

13 Feb 2019, 15:20

Enyimba FC head coach Usman Abdullah has given a practical perspective of his side’s meeting with Niger Tornadoes today.

Abdullah has clearly aimed to build on the People’s Elephant previous win over Remo, while also saying he would accept a point today.

“I am happy we got those three points (against Remo Stars) because it boosts the morale of the boys,” Abd’Allah started.

“They’ve understood that now we have to get a point or three points. We have to keep on picking the points away so that we can recover because when you see this league it’s all about the away points that can confirm a comfortable place for you.

“That’s what we have come here for. We are planning well for this match and we’ll make sure we get out of this place with something in hand.

“We are working on it. We worked well before coming for this match, and by God’s grace this time around we’ll end up going back with something in hand.”

A win for Enyimba will propel the former African champions to second spot behind the high-flying MFM.
