Dynamos looking to sign Ghanaian midfielder
Zimbabwean side Dynamos are set to sign Ghanaian midfielder Robert Sackey after he was believed to have impressed on trial.
Head coach Lloyd Chigowe has since recommended the signing of Sackey and striker Ngandu Mangala from the Democratic Republic of Congo.
"I believe there is still a little bit of work to be done so that we become a highly-competitive team," he said.
"The five Dynamos juniors are already in place. We have filled 23 slots and we are left with only two and those two probably are for the foreign contingent.
"I think we are satisfied with what we have, but there are one or two players we are expecting, that is if they can beat the registration deadline.
"Those ones might not be coming for trials, but to compete in the 3 PM game."
"But if they don’t make it on time, then we will go ahead and do business with those players that we have."
In the course of the 2010/11 season, Sackey trained with Turkey second-tier side Kayseri Erciyesspor Kulubu but failed to land a plausible deal.
