Douglas Bamweyana feels that the referees led by Mashoud Ssali were biased as SC Villa drew 1-1 against BUL on Tuesday in Njeru.
Though the coach believes that they could have won the game were it not for some simple errors, he turned the guns to the officials.
“We committed some very basic errors that really cost us but we are getting better,” the tactician said before turning to the referees: “I normally don’t want to talk about the officiating but we really need some improvement. The referees were not very fair to us; there were calls that, in my opinion, were deliberately being ignored on our side but they were awarding [to BUL] nearly everything. The free kicks were given one way.
“Otherwise, overall, we shot ourselves on the foot by committing those basic errors,” he added.
