Roma manager Eusebio Di Francesco was left fuming after the final whistle despite his side scoring a 95th-minute goal to take all three points against relegation-threatened Frosinone with a 3-2 away win on Saturday night.
Edin Dzeko spared Roma the blushes with a winner deep into injury time but Di Francesco wasn’t impressed with his team’s performance.
“We can’t keep getting away with this type of performance,” he told the media after the game.
“Frosinone are scrapping for every point to secure safety and I know what that is like. We made too many mistakes and should’ve approached the game better, as we risked a draw or even a defeat. We always find a way to make life more complicated for ourselves with distractions.”
The win took Roma to within a point of a Champions League place.
