The Kenyan Premier League continued on Sunday 3 March with two games that were on show seeing Sofapaka and Zoo Kericho record wins

Sofapaka who entertained newbies KCB FC at the Kenyatta Stadium-Machakos had Umaru Kasumab to thank as his solo strike proved the difference; the Ugandan dispatching a late penalty after the game had a draw written all over it.

A late, late penalty goal from Umaru Kasumba earned Sofapaka a slim 1 – 0 win over KCB at the Kenyatta Stadium, Machakos, on Sunday 3 March in the 16th round of matches.

KCB’s Bethwel Warambo was the victim of the day as his handball in his own box a minute from time gave referee Raymond Onyango no chance but to point to the spot; Kasumba stepping up to slot past Adisa in the bankers' goal

Win For Zoo

As Sofapaka were winning in Machakos, Zoo Kericho made good use of their home ground as they overcame visiting Posta Rangers 1-0 at the Kericho Green Stadium.

The lone goal by Zoo was scored by Newton Ondari in the 43rd minute in what was Zoo’s third win of the season.
