English Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in signing Notts County striker Kion Etete.

All Nigeria Soccer understands that the youngster went through a trial with the Spurs youth team and started for the U18s in their 5-3 win over West Ham in a U18 Premier League fixture on Saturday, March 2.

Etete was reportedly one of the most impressive players on the pitch, having scored two first-half goals as Tottenham edged in an eight-goal thriller and piled on the pressure on Arsenal who are leading on the table.

The budding striker has been tipped as one of the best prospects to come out of Notts County and was rewarded with a professional contract on his seventeenth birthday.

However, since making his official debut for The Magpies first team, Etete has appeared in six matches across all competitions including four EFL League 2 games.
Kion Etete was born in Derby to an English mom and Nigerian father which makes him eligible to represent Nigeria and England at international level.
Luke Amos, Timothy Eyoma, Jubril Okedina and Joshua Oluwayemi are among the Nigeria-eligible players on the books of Tottenham Hotspur.
