The 2019 African Cup of Nations Qualifier between hosts Ghana and Kenya’s Harambee Stars will be staged at the Ohene Gjan Sports Stadium in Accra on Saturday 23 March this as conformed by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

Kenya begun their campaign with a loss against Sierra Leone who were later banned by CAF, overcoming Ghana in Nairobi before picking four points against Ethiopia in their two-legged affair in Nairobi and Addis Ababa; the outing seeing the Sebastien Migne coached side topping their group with seven points.
Ghana hasn’t played at the Accra Sports Stadium since their 7-1 drubbing of Mauritius in the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers in 2016.
A win for Ghana in Accra will see them perch a top of Group F with nine points this after overcoming Ethiopia at home and being awarded another three points for their absconded tie against Leone; a draw for Stars seeing them top the group with eight points.
Kenya and Ghana will hope they can get fair groups when the draw for the 2019 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) is held on April 12, 2019 in Cairo, Egypt with the main tournament slated for June 21 to July 19.
