Former Super Eagles defender, Elderson Echiejile, has signed for Finnish powerhouse HJK Helsinki.
The one-year deal was announced by Helsinki via Twitter, ending the 31-year-old’s eight-month unemployment since leaving AS Monaco in July last year.
“An experienced Elderson has joined the Turkish camp on the team,” said the club in a translated tweet.
The veteran left-back has 58 appearances and three goals for the Super Eagles.
