Match preview 🖊
Both sides come into this one in decent domestic form. Atletico has virtually cemented 2nd in LaLiga but won't be able to catch Barcelona, making the Champions League their focus. They have a wonderful chance to progress to the quarters here with a 2-0 aggregate lead over Juventus. Juve will fancy their chances of winning this second leg but they must keep the back door shut otherwise chances of progress on aggregate are very slim.
If ever there was a night for Cristiano Ronaldo to drag his team to success, this is it. It's bound to be a fascinating night of competitive football in Turin.
Team news 📰
Midfield trio Sami Khedira, Juan Cuadrado & Douglas Costa are all out injured for the hosts, and Brazilian left-back Alex Sandro serves a one-match suspension after accumulative bookings. Atletico Madrid must do without two combative first-team regulars, Diego Costa & Ghanaian Thomas Partey, through suspension. Alvaro Morata is expected to start in place of Costa against his old club. Filipe Luis & Lucas Hernandez are both injured which presents a massive selection dilemma at left-back for Diego Simeone.
