AmaZulu aim to repeat Wits victory against Free State Stars

AmaZulu will look to gain further momentum as they take on Free State Stars at Goble Park Stadium on Saturday, March 16 in an Absa Premiership clash.

Usuthu go into this fixture beaming with confidence after a successful 2-0 victory over Bidvest Wits at King Zwelithini stadium as they look to climb up the log standings.

Coming off the back of a loss against Supersport United, Free State stars will be hoping to steer themselves to safety and out of the relegation zone.

Usuthu defender Sedat Ouro-Akoriko reckons that the encounter will be a difficult one, but believes the team is ready to fight with everything they have.

‘’It will be a difficult game for us but we are not going there to sleep, we are going to fight for maximum points.’’

The 30- year old Togolese international says that the green and white outfit has the potential to reproduce the level of quality that they did against Bidvest Wits.

‘’I believe that in the last match we were able to implement the coach's instructions on the field to the best of our abilities and I believe that if we work hard enough during training, we can produce another quality performance.’’

‘’We will give the opposing team the respect that they deserve but we will also not become too comfortable that we lose our concentration on the field, ‘’he concluded.

Kick off is set for 15:30 CAT.
