'I'm not working on that right now,' Hazard says on Madrid move

19 Mar 2019, 17:25

Eden Hazard has put on hold talks of a potential move to Real Madrid by saying his focus is on helping Chelsea win the Europa League and qualify for the Champions League.

The Belgian has been linked with a move to La Liga and the Blues have already reportedly rejected a first bid for their star player earlier today (Tuesday).

"I'm not working on that right now," Hazard told Belgian outlet VTM News on Tuesday as quoted by Sky Sports when asked about a potential move to Real Madrid.

"I want to shine with Chelsea for a few months and try to win the Europa League. This week I think about the Red Devils [Belgium] and then back to Chelsea. Then we'll see." He added.

Hazard, 28, enters the final year in his Chelsea contract and the Blues risk losing him on a free in 2020.
