The Netherlands vs Belarus

Group C of EURO 2020 qualifiers gets underway here when a rejuvenated and fresh-looking Netherlands side gets faces Belarus, hoping to get off to a perfect start in the qualification process. The Dutch have lost just once in their last nine after responding to missing out on the World Cup by producing some hugely improved performances to make the nations League finals this summer. Ronald Koeman’s side has won seven of their last eight at home scoring over 2.5 goals in half of those games and winning by a two-goal margin in five of those victories. They should win comfortably here.

Austria vs Poland

The top two in their qualifying group clash in the very first game and Austria are unsurprisingly favourites having gone seven games unbeaten and losing just once in 13 games at home.

Poland boss Jerzy Brzęczek is also yet to taste victory having drawn three and lost three of his six games in a disastrous Nations League campaign, so this represents a prime opportunity for the Austrians to take charge of this group from the start.

Belgium vs Russia

After suffering their largest competitive loss in the last decade with a 5-2 away hammering at the hands of Switzerland last November, Belgium will look to regain some pride with an opening Group I victory over last summer’s World Cup quarter-finalists and hosts Russia. Encouragingly for Belgium though, they haven't lost competitive home games since 2010. In three of their last four meetings with Russia, Belgium has scored at least twice and they'll be confident of extending that record against a side that's out of form.
