They will remain, leaders of the group irrespective of the result that will come after Libya and South Africa game. Seychelles occupy the last position of the group.
Odion Ighalo gave Nigeria the lead in the 33rd minute from the spot as Karl Hall fouled his opponent in the box. Hall received the yellow card as Ighalo more to take the penalty that gave the Super Eagles the lead at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba, Delta.
Uzoho's misjudgement gave the visitors enough space to equalize just four minutes to half time break. The Nigerian goalkeeper came out to claim a free kick and punched it towards Rody Melanie who took no time to slot the ball into an almost empty net behind Uzoho.
Chances for Nigeria in the first minutes of the match fell to Wilfred Ndidi, Etebo and Ighalo while there was just one open chance for the Islanders that Omeruo cleared in time to keep Nigeria safe from their visitor's attacks.
