KCCA forward Mike  Mutyaba could be out for the rest of the season with an Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury according to Daily Monitor reports.

Mutyaba, the log leaders leading scorer at the moment was substituted in the 1-1 draw against Vipers in which he scored to salvage a point for the hosts at Lugogo.

The former Vipers and Express star, however, fears his season could be done despite the season having five games to end.

“Honestly, I don’t think am going to play any of those games,” Mutyaba said.

"I got a serious injury against Vipers. An ACL in my left knee. Man, I didn’t even know."

KCCA’s physio Ivan Ssewanyana, however, couldn’t confirm but says they will wait for a scan on the player.

"The scan on the player was done on Friday and we give it up to 48 hours before we can know all the details. The results are now out but I’ll first see the player tomorrow and we assess the whole situation to know how much he will be out," Ssewanyana said.

The former TP Mazembe attacker hasn’t travelled with the team to Zombo where they take on Paidha Black Angels on Tuesday, April 9.
