Norwich vs Reading

Eight consecutive Championship victories have Norwich stretching away at the top, with automatic promotion looking like a certainty. Daniel Farke’s men have now matched an eight-game run in the Canaries’ title-winning 2009/10 season, and another victory here will see them march closer to a club record ten consecutive league wins that was recorded back in 1985/86. The last eight head to heads has seen both teams score and over 2.5 goals. Norwich striker Teemu Pukki has 26 goals this season and scored in both halves on their last outing

Rotherham vs Aston Villa

Aiming for a third home league win in four, Rotherham has long known that only home form alone can save them from relegation. Once again, any win will likely be attained in a stressful manner, with each of Rotherham’s seven home league wins this term coming by a single-goal margin, and six seeing them score in the 60th minute or later. It's worth noting that both teams have scored in each of Rotherham's eight home matches this calendar year, and that's a good bet this time around again. Five of Rotherham’s last six games have produced over 2.5 goals and seen both teams score

Brentford vs Ipswich

Sitting in midtable mediocrity with little to play for, it’s no surprise Brentford are winless in their last five Championship games (D2, L3). Still, having failed to find the net completely in four of those matches is unlikely to please loyal fans. At home they’ve been better though, scoring in 14 of their last 15 competitive games here, and winning seven of their last nine (W7, D1, L1). Ipswich has conceded in both halves in more than half of their games though and we can see them losing here and staying rooted to the bottom of the division

FUTAA BET: Brentford win

Birmingham vs Sheffield United

A shock 1-0 win against promotion hopefuls Leeds United gave Birmingham their first win in six Championship matches last weekend (W1, L5). That was their first 1-0 league victory at home this season, and just their seventh overall league success ‘to nil’ this campaign. That win was also the ‘Blues’ first clean sheet in ten league games. Sheffield United is undefeated in their last six away matches and we fancy them to win here.
