The loss meant that Sharks have now prolonged their winless streak to six games in the league, a run that has seen them slip to eighth on the log. Sharks wasted numerous chances to kill the game especially in the first half with Vincent Wasambo and George Abege being culprits. Second half goals from Timothy Otieno and Boniface Muchiri handed Tusker the three points with the same scorers also putting the sword to Sharks in the reverse fixture.

In an interview with futaa, Muluya pegged the loss on failure to capitalize on their chances, "Chances, I think if we convert we can be in that winning position but when we don't convert it becomes hard."

Sharks next face a daunting task as they come up against title-chasing Sofapaka who are bang on form with Muluya revealing how he will pick up the boys after the loss, "Positive talk and rectifying what is not happing in training. We just hope things we'll be better it's only one match but at least he was creating chances which we should have scored."

Sharks have suffered injuries to Eric Kapaito, Harrison Mwendwa and Patillah Omoto, three vital players in the squad but Muluya refused to blame the loss on the injuries, "Those who are there would have won they could have scored."

Sofapaka will host Sharks Thursday 18th April at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos in a 2 PM kick off.
