Klopp's thoughts on facing Barcelona in Champions League semi-finals
The Reds, who had won the first leg 2-0 at home, were too strong for the Portuguese side, with goals from Sadio Mane, Mohammed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Virgil Dijk guiding them to a 6-1 win on aggregate.
Speaking after the match, Klopp, who has never faced Barcelona in a competitive match said he will be happy to come up against the Spanish giants.
"We played better this season. It was always going to be a whirlwind here and that was what it was. Second half the energy level dropped for Porto and we could control the game and score the goals. We are more experienced, that is clear. We had difficult away games and we knew it would be the same as at City and Roma last year. It is all good. A difficult game but we go to the semi-finals. It is the first time for me to play Barcelona, apart from in friendlies. I am looking forward to that," he said after the match.
Barcelona, on the other hand, qualified after an assured second-leg performance against Manchester United at the Camp Nou.
Lionel Messi scored a brace in the match, with Philippe Coutinho scoring the other with a beautiful strike to give the hosts a 3-0 victory on the night and 4-0 win on aggregate.
Liverpool will travel to Barcelona for the first leg of the anticipated clash on 30th of April, before hosting the return leg a week later.
