The five players include Ander Herrera, Eric Bailly, Antonio Valencia, Nemanja Matic, and Alexis Sanchez. The Chilean featured in the 3-0 defeat to Barcelona as United crashed out of the UEFA Champions League, coming on in the 73rd minute for Romelu Lukaku. Herrera suffered a muscle injury and has not featured since the 2-1 win over Watford last month.

Speaking in a press conference ahead of the Everton clash, Solskjaer provided team news on the five players, "The squad is looking good and getting better and better, I have to say. Ander is back in training - he’s been working really hard. Eric (Bailly) will be back in training over the weekend, Antonio (Valencia) we’re not sure about yet.

"We’ll have 20 training this morning, plus the keepers, which is not bad. Nemanja (Matic) and Alexis (Sanchez) had a good session yesterday as well, so they will probably be involved."
