Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed David de Gea will during his side’s Premier League trip to Huddersfield on Sunday despite his recent dip in form.
The Spaniard has not been in fine form in recent matches and has heavily costed United points. De Gea was at fault for Chelsea’s equalizer at Old Trafford as he failed to save Antonio Rudiger’s shot which led to Marcos Alonso levelling the scores from the rebound. Despite being United’s best player of the year in four of the past five seasons, he has endured a difficult time.
"I would think so, yeah - or he will play. Sergio [Romero] was injured yesterday so he didn't train. He tweaked his knee and David's been training well this week,” said Solskjaer.
"Of course [we trust him], he's been fantastic this season,” he added.
The Red Devils are sixth on the log with 65 points, three behind fourth-placed Chelsea with only two matches remaining.
