  • Enugu Rangers & Akwa United stay top.

Fans across Nigeria are left smiling after Sunday’s avalanche of goals. Only a single match from the day’s 10 games delivered a goalless draw, with the nine other games delivering 23 goals.

The biggest win came in the biggest game of the weekend in Aba State. The Oriental derby featuring Enugu Rangers and Enyimba FC resulted in a 3-1 hammering for the Flying Antelopes.

There was also a five-goal thriller in Katsina as The Changi Boys claimed a 3-2 victory over Remo Stars.

As far as the relegation boys are concerned, Remo Stars and Yobe Stars did nothing to move out of their respective bottom standings.

Full Sunday results:

  • Sunshine Stars 2-1 Wikki
  • MFM 1-0 Rivers United
  • Enyimba 3-1 Rangers
  • Kwara Utd 0-0 Lobi Stars
  • Katsina United 3-2 Remo Stars
  • Heartland 2-0 Yobe Stars
  • Akwa United 2-1 Nasarawa United
  • Kano Pillars 1-0 Plateau Utd
  • FC Ifeanyi Ubah 2-1 Delta Stars
  • Gombe Utd 1-0 Abia Warriors.

Meanwhile, there are just two days to recharge before the action continues on Wednesday.
