Harambee Stars players react to Victor Wanyama getting to the Champions League final

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, Victor Wanyama is set to become only the second Kenyan international to grace the UEFA Champions League final after his brother MacDonald Mariga did so nine years ago with Inter Milan.

Wanyama was however substituted at the beginning of the second half after picking up a knock in the first half following a collision with Donny van de Beek in the 3-2 win over Ajax. The former AFC Leopards midfielder has started in the last three Champions League knockout games and come on as a late sub in the 1-0 win over Manchester City in the first leg quarterfinal clash.

Eric Johanna who plies his trade in Sweden with Brommapojkarna, Brain Mandela who is in South Africa with Maritzburg United and Ismael Gonzalez who turns out for Las Palmas II in Spain all lauded Wanyama for his wonderful feat on their official Instagram pages
