Gor Mahia the biggest contributors in CHAN squad; Vihiga the least
Reigning Kenyan Premier League champions Gor Mahia gave seven players to the Harambee Stars CHAN team that is set to represent the nation for the 2020 showpiece.
Gor contingent in Migne's squad is led by Francis Kahata, Philemon Otieno and Joash Onyango all who have been selected too in the team that is slated to represent the nation in the 2019 AFCON competition; the others joining their mates in the CHAN squad including Nicholas Kipkurui, Charles Momanyi, Kenneth Muguna and Samuel Onyango.
Another the second-best contributor to the team was Kariobangi Sharks which had six players. The six of goalkeeper Brian Bwire and John Oyemba who are fighting for a slot in AFCON is joined by defender Eric Juma, Patillah Omoto, Duke Abuya and Sydney Lokale.
AFC Leopards and Sofapaka gave out three players each with Bandari, Ulinzi Stars and National Super League side Wazito FC giving two players each. The trio of Vihiga United, Kakamega Homebyz and Vihiga United all gave a player each.
The qualifiers for the 2020 African Cup of Nations begins in August.
