Bandari FC midfielder Abdalla Hamisi has joined Botswana side Orapa FC on a two-year deal the player has confirmed.
The deal has an option of an extension for a further year with the player who thanked Bandari for the times they spent together expressing his delight while speaking with Futaa.
“I’m happy because I am joining one of the biggest teams in Botswana. Things didn’t go well as I had planned at Bandari but I want to thank them for the time I was there. I’m coming to a new environment so I have to adapt on so many aspects but I believe I will have a good outing during my stay here,” Hamisi said.
Apart from Bandari and Sony Sugar, the player who represented Tanzania in their last CECAFA Championship featured for Muhoroni Youth in the Kenyan top flight.
Oropa finished third in the 16 team Botswana league and Hamisi will hope that he can help his side acquire a Champions League slot which was won by Township Rollers last season.
