Thibaut Courtois to be Real Madrid's first choice goalkeeper next season

14 May 2019, 18:30

Real Madrid are reportedly ready to let Keylor Navas leave the club at the end of the season - a move which will undoubtedly make Thibaut Courtois the first choice goalkeeper at the club next season.

The Belgian has endured a difficult debut season in Spain but according to the Evening Standard, Zinedine Zidane has opted to keep him at the club and offload 32-year-old Navas who won three consecutive Champions League titles with the side.

The Costa Rican still has a year left on his contract and could be available for around €12m (£10m) in the summer.
