Manchester United eye Romelu Lukaku replacement

16 May 2019, 21:30

Manchester United are reportedly ready to splash out £40m for Lyon striker Moussa Dembele as a replacement for Romelu Lukaku who has been linked with a move away from the club.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is plotting a summer transfer spending spree as he looks to rebuild his squad after a disappointing campaign in which they missed out on Champions League football.

And according to The Sun, Solskjaer has identified the 22-year-old as a possible replacement for Lukaku up front.

Dembele, who quit Celtic last year, has been in terrific form for Lyon this season, scoring 20 goals in all competitions.
