AFC Leopards coach signs a new deal

AFC Leopards head coach Andre Casa Mbungo has signed a new one year deal with the Kenyan Premier League giants the club has confirmed.

The Rwandese joined the club three months ago after taking over from Serbian Vsilejevic who had resigned following a string of poor performances.

In a post, AFC Leopards noted: “CLUB UPDATE.

“Our head coach Andre Casa Mbungo has extended his contract by one more year to June 2021. The management has confidence in his ability to deliver better results with the team.”

The new deal is believed to have necessitated by other teams who are believed to have been enquired about the coach. Last month, the coach had been linked with a move to Tanzania side Singida FC with a return to Rwanda with Rayon having been muted too.

The seasoned coach has handled Rwanda’s Police FC, AS Kigali, Sunrise and Kiyovu Sports.
