Serie A club Lazio are in contention to make a move for Everton outcast Cenk Tosun ahead of the summer transfer window.

Calciomercato reported that Everton manager, Marco Silva will be looking to revamp his squad in the new season which could be a red flag for Tosun.

The 27-year-old has had a rather poor season having managed to score four goals and contributed three assists across all competition, mostly coming off the bench.

Lazio remain with one game to conclude their 2018/19 season and could finish seventh on the Serie A log - in which they will hope to get Tosun's signature to make the difference in the squad.

Turkish Football reported in the last week that the striker hinted at wanting to stay at Goodison Park but this can only be possible if he gets more game time opportunities.

Tosun is under contract on Merseyside until 2022 and doesn’t seem in any real rush to depart. If Silva doesn’t see him as part of his plans for next season, however, some sort of move away from the club could come to fruition.
