Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane feels Black Leopards striker Mwape Musonda should stay in Thohoyandou.
As reported on Futaa yesterday, the Absa Premiership Golden Boot holder, Musonda, saw his club chairman confirm receiving offers for the hot Zambian striker - both locally and abroad.
But the league's best coach Mosimane has advised otherwise.
“He has done well and he has scored some important goals for the team. He helped the team to survive relegation,” Mosimane told Kick Off about Musonda.
“That guy had the team on his shoulders, it’s unbelievable. He is a good player, I hope he stays where he is. But I’m not the right one to say he must stay or go. He should, because Black Leopards needs him also.
The reigning Absa Premiership champion and Coach of the Season additionally cautioned the 28-year-old Musonda on the possibilities of flop moves.
“He knows that he has travelled a little bit to find a stable home. You know you can move from a club that you were good at and you are appreciated, you move somewhere and nothing happens. So be very careful of moving when you are loved and when people want to keep you,” concluded Mosimane.
