Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri insists it would not be difficult for Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech to face his potential future employers in next week’s Europa League final.
Cech is set to retire after the Europa League final and his former club Chelsea have already offered him a job which could put him in a strange position next week. Arsenal boss Unai Emery is set to stick with the keeper ahead of Bernd Leno despite raise of eyebrows of Cech facing potential future employers. Sarri, whose future with the Blues is not yet decided refused to speak about Cech’s potential return to Stamford Bridge.
“I don't like to speak about an Arsenal player because, at the moment, he is a professional player. He has to play for Arsenal until the end of June, so I want to respect the player and the club,” said Sarri.
And Arsenal. I don't want to speak about Cech at this moment,” he added.
Chelsea will meet Arsenal next week on Wednesday 29th in the Europa League finals in Baku.
