With Manchester City winger, Leroy Sane being linked with a move to Bayern Munich in the summer, Robert Lewandowski has rained praise down on the German, terming him as a "great player".
Sane started just 21 of City's 38 league games this season, having started 27 a year ago, and Guardiola has called for more from the winger at times in the just-concluded season. The German still managed to make a massive contribution to City's historic, treble-winning campaign, scoring 16 goals, including the crucial winner against Liverpool.
In an interview with the Kicker, Lewandowski heaped praise on Sane and noted that they are not yet done in the transfer market, "I know something is going to happen. This [Sane] is a great player with great quality and potential, I've seen how good he has been many times, and those players can get you up from the very first game and improve the team.
"We need a quality that immediately makes Bayern a step better, you have no time at Bayern, you have to bring the quality of the whole team on the first matchday."
Bayern have already spent over £100m on new defenders Benjamin Pavard and Lucas Hernandez and are said to be looking to add new forwards following the departure of club legends Arjen Robben and Frank Ribery.
