Van Persie names the top six best teammates he has played with

Robin van Persie has named a list of the top six best players he has shared the dressing room with during his illustrious career.

The Dutchman, who announced his retirement at the age of 35, named not one but six players when he was asked in an interview by BBC Sport to name the best teammate he played alongside with.

"So difficult to name one," he said.

"I would go for Dennis Bergkamp, Thierry Henry, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Wayne Rooney and Ruud van Nistelrooy."

Van Persie, who left Manchester United for Fenerbahce in 2015, also named Nemanja Vidic and Rio Ferdinand as the best defenders he came up against.
