25 May 2019, 11:10

Coach of MFM FC Fidelis Ilechukwu has expressed confidence in the ability of the Flying Eagles to get to the quarter finals of the ongoing FIFA U-20 world cup in Poland.

Ilechukwu said none of the teams in the Flying Eagles Group had the quality to stop Nigeria.

He described the Paul Aigbogu tutored boys as truly “flying”, adding that they displayed quality and impressive game over Qatar.

“With what I saw today, quarter finals is non-negotiable, I don’t think any team in that Group D will stop these boys,” the MFM FC coach said.

Ilechukwu, who congratulated the team, urged them to continue with such quality pattern of play in order to lift the trophy for the first time.

According to him, what they need to do now is to sustain this form which certainly will give them victory over Ukraine and U.S.

Nigeria are competing for quarter finals ticket at the FIFA U20 World Cup in Group D with Ukraine, U.S and Qatar.
