Manchester City are confident Leroy Sane will sign a new contract with the club despite linked with a summer move to Bayern Munich.
According to Sky Sports sources, the Premier League giants will hold talks with the winger's representatives in the coming days in the hope of securing him to a new contract.
Sane, 23, still has two years remaining on his current contract but featured sparingly for Pep Guardiola's treble-winning side.
And with Bayern looking for replacements for Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery, the German has emerged as a top target for the Bundesliga giants.
"Yes, we are dealing with that name at the moment." Bayern president Uli Hoeness said when asked about Sane.
Sane scored 16 goals in 47 matches during the 2018/19 campaign.
