Kabwe Warriors did not expect to lose to Arrows

Kabwe Warriors assistant coach Levy Chabala was surprised by his teams loss to Red Arrows on Saturday which ended their 17 match unbeaten run.

Its not all bad news for the Kabwe outfit as Chabala picked positives in the campaign . He is confident the Magnificent People's team will come back a better side in August when the new seasons kicks off.

"Its unfortunate that we have lost. We did not expect this this but it has happened and we have learned some lessons from this. We played well did our level best but maybe it was just not our year," He said.

"We are disappointed as whole provinces. Our fans are also disappointed but this is not the end of football. We will work on our team and come back stronger," He added.

Warriors went into Saturdays match having not lost a single match in the league and on top of Stream A but a 30th minute goal from Paul Katema put an end to the unbeaten run and sent them to fourth place on the log to miss out on continental football and ABSA Cup.
