In the build-up to the Ghana Special Competition semi-finals, Futaa looks at which teams were the most effective in the opposition’s box as well as their own.

As confirmed, Hearts of Oak finished as the best team in Ghana with 28 points in Premier A - while Ashanti Gold somewhat laboured to Premier B with 23 points.

  3. Hearts 9 goals
  4. Karela 13 goals

Right up next is now the final fours battles. As the highest scorers, the Oak Tree have an interesting battle against the top four’s most stingy defence.

Karela fascinate as one of the highest scorers though they are also the side that leak the most goals.

Semi-finals fixtures:

  • Hearts of Oak vs Asante Kotoko
  • Ashanti Gold vs Karela United.

The games will be played on home & two legs, with Hearts and Ashgold hosting the first leg games on Wednesday.
