Eintracht Frankfurt forward Luka Jovic has hinted that he could make a switch to the English Premier League amid Manchester United and Manchester City links.
Jovic was reported to have agreed on a move to Real Madrid who allegedly paid £52.4m for the Serbian which tied him down to a five-year deal, though some reports have denied an agreement had been reached. Jovic has been a revelation for the Bundesliga outfit this season, netting 27 goals across competitions and providing seven assists. The 21-year-old has been linked with City and United despite the latter's lack of Champions League football.
In an interview with Die Welt, Jovic admitted that he was ready for a move to the Premier League, "From my experience in the Europa League, I would say that some other leagues in Europe are more suited to me and my way of playing football. “In terms of the physique, the Bundesliga is very demanding, but after the games against Chelsea or Inter Milan, I personally had the feeling that I could feel even better [playing] in the Premier League or Serie A.
"The way the teams play there suits me better. I'm looking forward to seeing my level compared to the best players in the world. One thing is clear: I want to succeed in my career."
