Scottish giants Rangers are reportedly eyeing to sign Ghana defender Daniel Opare as a replacement for captain James Tavernier.
Tavernier is said to be wanted by a host of Premier League clubs, notably promoted sides Aston Villa and Norwich.
The two sides were recently promoted, with Norwich progressing as winners, which Aston Villa beat Derby County in the Playoff finals to earn promotion.
According to the Scottish Sun, the Scottish Premier League giants want Opare, who is seen as a perfect replacement and are lining up a £500,000 bid, who currently plays for Royal Antwerp.
The versatile defender still has 12 months left on his contract with the Belgian side, and the club might choose to cash on him instead of leaving him to walk as a free agent at the expiry of his contract.
Opare, 28, has had a decent career and played for grew up in Real Madrid youth academy before turning for Standard Liege, FC Porto, Beskitas and Augsburg.
