Portugal star and team captain Cristiano Ronaldo is calling on fans to give them support, as they take on the Netherlands in the final of the Nations League on Sunday night.
The marksman was the man-of-the show as Portugal swept aside Switzerland 3-1 in the semis, hitting a wonderful hattrick much to the joy of the home fans.
Speaking ahead of the match, the Juventus attacker underlined the importance of having full support from the fans, saying they contributed a lot to their final advancement.
"I want to mention our fans because they played a crucial in our win. Their support was great and I want to leave here a message for them; that in the final we can have a sold-out stadium and that they support us from start to end," he said.
"That will give us motivation, and a lot of strength and we can with this competition, which is something we desire," he added.
Ronaldo will be hoping to lift one more title with his national team, having guided them to the Euro trophy win in 2016.
He led by example on Wednesday night, and many Portuguese fans will be hoping he has another perfect night in Porto in the finals.
They come up against a tricky Netherlands side that saw off England in the semifinals.
