Danny Rose unsure of Tottenham future

Tottenham left-back Danny Rose is unsure of his future at the London club, amid transfer speculation linking him with a move away from the club.

The 28-year-old, who has two years left on his contract, had an improved end of the season but says he will wait to hear from the club.

"If I am [at Tottenham next season] great, if not great. It's no secret I've been linked with a move in the media, and it's the club's policy to move players on when they reach a certain age," he told Sky Sports.

Rose made 37 appearances in all competitions for Spurs in a near-perfect season and was involved in all Champions League matches from the quarterfinals onwards.

Everton are said to be keen on taking the England international, who still has a few seasons left in him.

He has been a target for Manchester United before and has never hidden his desire to move from Spurs, admitting in August 2017 that he would want to move back north and closer to his Doncaster home.

Spurs expect a few players to leave, among the Kieran Trippier, and there is interest for defenders Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen.
