Jordan Pickford was the hero for England once again in penalty shoot-outs as he scored and saved a penalty as they beat Switzerland in the UEFA Nations League third-place play-off.
After losing five shoot-outs in a row, England have now won back-to-back penalties for the first time ever and it was also the first time they had scored six of their efforts, all six in fact with Pickford not just saving the decisive kick but also scoring. The Everton goalkeeper had never taken a penalty before in a competitive game and he went on to save Josip Drmic's penalty in sudden death.
