Sergio Ramos speaks on playing with Eden Hazard after Real Madrid transfer
With Real Madrid announcing Eden Hazard's five-year deal, skipper Sergio Ramos is relishing the opportunity to play alongside the Belgian.
The Spanish giants will pay the Blues an initial £88million for the 28-year-old, though the fee will rise to a total of £130million after add-ons. Hazard has enjoyed a fine season with Chelsea, scoring 21 goals and picking up 17 assists as well as starring in the UEFA Europa League final, bagging a brace. Los Blancos are looking to overhaul their squad after a poor season.
Ramos revealed that he is eager to play with Hazard as he termed him as a "world-class player", "He is coming to play with us, we were already here, right? I'm happy. I think it's a great signing. He is a world-class player. It is good to reinforce the squad."
Hazard is set to complete his move to Madrid when he will be officially unveiled on Thursday, so long as his medical goes off without a hitch.
