Euro Qualifiers: Ramos, Morata on target as Spain beat Sweden

Spain overcame Sweden 3-0 to take charge of Group F in their Euro 2020 qualifier at the Santiago Bernabeu on Monday night.

Two second-half penalties from Sergio Ramos and Alvaro Morata with a late goal from Michael Oyarzabal ensured the hosts picked maximum points from a determined Swedish side.

Spain opened the scoring just 16 minutes into the match only for the goal to be ruled out for offside and despite dominating possession failed to find the opening goal in the first 45 minutes.

Second half

Breakthrough finally came in the 64th minute when Sebastian Larsson handled the ball in his own box which Sergio Ramos stepped up and buried into the back of the net to open the scoring for the home side.

Luis Enrique's men scored two goals in the last five minutes through Alvaro Morata's penalty and Michael Oyarzabal to put the result beyond any doubt.
