11 Jun 2019, 22:10

Zambian winger Kenneth Kalunga has joined Portuguese third tier side Benfica Castelo Branco from another Portuguese side UFF Lamas on a one year deal.

The Zambia U23 Winger was a key member of the Clube Futebol União de Lamas FF in their Campeonato de Portugal Prio campaign. Kalunga played 31 games scoring five goals and creating over 10 chances.

Kalunga was a key member of the Beston Chambeshi U20 national team side that won the 2017 U20 AFCON and reached the quarterfinals of the World Cup.

This is the third club Kalunga has joined since his move to Portugal back in 2017. His first club in Portugal was Sporting club de Esmoriz after a short stint in Denmark.
